The Story

Our family used to spend Sundays driving back roads searching for land for sale for our hunting cabin.  On these trips we always seemed to come back with a story to tell (like the time we drove a Camaro through a creek).  On one of these occasions our cousin “Red” was with us and for whatever reason we decided he needed a new nickname.  We went with “Purple Carp”.  So when we needed a name for our Red Ale, Purple Carp seemed like a natural fit.  If you see a large red haired man sitting in the corner at the bar, say hello to the Purple Carp!
